Hunter’s flames burned hotter at Evian’s words, and the boys retreat.
“That makes it disloyalty on top of it!” Hunter bellowed, as he balled up a fist and condensed a ball of flame, larger then a dinner platter, and hotter then any campfire. He wound up the fist, preparing to throw it at the boys back, hoping it would only take one throw to kill the kid.
Half of Hunter’s mind took in what sounded like Evian saying she favored someone other then himself, which would kill Hunter if it were true, for Hunter is a truly jealous person. His mind went racing with reasons why Evian would save this idiotic boy, and as he was trying to a find a reason, his mind kept repeating her words to him, “I'm partial to him, I'm partial to him, I'm partial to him.” This did not help Hunter calm down, and caused the flame-ball to grow even larger, sapping the flame from the rest of his body, and condensing it into a fist sized ball that was burning hot enough to rip right through any building, and would even kill giants, let alone go through human flesh with ease. Hunter gazed at this flame in wonder, for it was the most deadly form of his spell on any single target, and he had never used it before, but that was beside the point, what was important now was the boy who is about to get full blast from it. Hunter pulled his arm back to throw the flame.

Evian was not the sort of person to take well to disobidience, and Hunter's continued rampage upset her- if he was willing to hurt a person she held dear (regardless of wether or not she actually considered him close),then he was just being selfish- even though she couldn't blame him for it- but it still upset her...In any case, she loathed it when her directions were not taken to heart: she would have a word with him about this when it was all finished...
In any case, she would have to deal with the problem at hand immediatly, and she was quite unsure what to do... How could she make him limp without cursing him... Well, she did have one option, but it was going to be exreamly, extreamly difficult to explain away after the fact- but she hated disobidence, and he would have to know that she wouldn't put up with it...And, in any case, she couldn't have him killing this hufflepuff boy, she didn't really care for his personal wellbeing, but she did want him to survive...
So, snarling "Oh, dammit," she spun about to his front and gave a bit of a leap and latched her legs around his torso and, clasping her hand behind his neck, drew him into a fiery kiss, her fingers curling into his hair, her only thought to draw his attention.
Now, later she could lie- say she knew Hunter had a thing for her, and, being the selfless, daring person she was (or claimed to be), kissed a man she had no attraction to... Hm... and was now forced to date out of tact? That could work....

As James neared the door to leave the building he glanced over his shoulder, worried that Hunter was going to stalk him out of the building. Instead of seeing Hunter following him he saw a site that stopped him dead in his tracks. Evian was kissing Hunter. ‘What is the meaning of this?’ James thought to himself. He turned to face the couple for half a moment, and then took advantage of the embrace to leave.
James threw open the door and stepped out of it, for the first time feeling safe. Placing his wand back in his pocket, James glanced around noting the large number of people going towards the castle, James hurried to join them mingling with the crowd to be mre hidden from Hunter.

Hunter raised his hand to hurl the fire-ball at the boy when suddenly Evian leapt upon him. The startling feel of her body against his caused the flame to get extinguished. Evian pressed her lips against his, and Hunter wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to him. Hunter closed his eyes, his hand positioned to where he can not drop Evian. Hunter dropped to his knees still holding, and kissing Evian. He did this for he did not trust his legs any longer with the sudden change of emotion, from anger, to pure happiness.
After several long moments, Hunter released Evian and rose back to his feet. He offered his hand to Evian to help her to her own feet, and motioned for them to leave the bar before anyone tried starting something. Hunter noted several awe-struck faces in the crowd, and many confused faces., he chose to ignore all people but Evian at this time.

Evian clung to his hand and jerked herself to her feet, and started a snappish, swayed walk outside of the bar, her slender arms knotting before her chest, her lips unfurling into a line of slick, cleanlycut agitation.
"Hunter," she said, her voice high and waspish, a lengthy hand of brandishing fingers coming unfolded to gesture mildly as she spoke, "I certianly won't be so eager to kiss you if you insist on setting people to flame when I have a problem with it. Especially if I tell you they're my friend!" Her voice got a knot higher, and, simply because she wished to drive him a little crazy- after all, he deserved some sort of punishment for what he'd done, added, "Are you just doing this because... because you want me to be unhappy? He's my friend, you could have killed him!"
Her delicate hand came to her heart, and, admitedly drawing this out a little too drastic then she really needed to, she looked up at him, her eyes aflame with injury and sorrow, giving a sad puff of air, her other hand coming to a perch at her skirted hip. Beneath her shattered air, she was rather enjoying herself- it would be interesting to see how much her pain hurt him; she suspected it would be enough to bring forth a hurried apology, at any rate...
However, the most important thing she had learnt from all of this was her greatest defense against Hunter- should he ever get out of control, or upset, or disagreeable, she could just slip into a kiss or press herself against him- he was obviously not used to physical closeness, and this could be turned to her advantage.

Hunter noted the look of agitation on Evian’s face and frowned well walking beside her. Her words struck an not-fully unexpected blow, but Hunter took them like he was just smacked upside the face by a troll. All his features went completely slack and a frown came upon his lips.
“I am so sorry Evian, but I am not used to allowing anyone to bad talk you. Whenever I hear someone say something about you behind your back I tend to curse them. And the fact that he was your friend made it several times worse…” Hunter looked at Evian, trying to convey how sorry he was into that look, for he did not wish her to be upset with him, especially on the first day of their relationship.
Hunter continued to walk towards the castle in silence, hoping he had not ruined their relationship.

Evian felt her lips twitch into an amused smile, and, despite her better judgement- she knew she ought to stay a little more ruffled and upset with him for a bit, just to really sink her message in- but the idea he would defend her behind her back was, admittedly, a little endearing... Well, perhaps she could forgive him easily just this once, she could make him think on this sort of thing more if he did it again...
So, she slipped her hand to his, and, unfurling her fingers and holding his hand lightly, murmured, "Oh, I'm hopeless, Hunter, I can't stay mad at you for long." She perfumed her words with a sort of doey affection, and pulled his hand closer to her, smiling softly and giggling.
She hoped that no one would see her clutching his hand on the trot back to Hogwarts, it might make her story less believable... though, everyone knew that she was a phinominal pretender, they would probably believe that all of her sticky adoration was false (which was, for once, the truth of it).

Hunter allowed Evian’s hand to slip into his, taking it as a sign of forgiveness. They continued up the road and through the gates into the school grounds. Hunter decided to break the silence to figure out where she wanted to go, for he wanted more alone time and he was not looking forward to the questioning the school was going to give, him, both students and teachers..
“Where do you want to go now Evian? I have nothing to do for the remainder of the day, but I’m not sure I should return to the castle where I am sure a teacher is waiting to talk to me about my ‘outburst’ in the village, and questioning me after the spell that I had used.” Hunter looked at Evian again. “I AM sorry about that…. Just for your sake….”
