The Entrance Hall was practically deserted when Angelina stepped down the Grand Stair case. Her earthy green dress gave her the appearance of a moth; something she took pride in when it hid her within the castle walls. Her arms spread out wide like wings as she stepped onto the dusty floor with her bare feet.
"Oh, I feel like dancing," Angelina said, her voice echoing across the walls.
She twirled around in a circle, her dress spreading outward like ripples in a pond. She stood on her tiptoes, hopping from one place to another as though she was a ballerina. Her movements were graceful and elegant. While she danced, all of her worries disappeared into thin air.
"What a wonderful thing it is to dance..."

Tristoy hurried down the Grand Staircase. He was extremely hungry and breakfast was just beginning. If he ran fast enough he'd be able to get there in time for some food. When he entered the Entrance Hall, he paused. A familiar voice floated through the air and into his ears.
"I know that voice," he said to himself.
He continued down the steps and saw Angelina prancing around the dusty floor. A smile grew on his face. He'd never met a girl like this one before. She was care free and always seemed to have a smile on her face. He was beginning to like her a lot.

Angelina froze in the middle of her dancing and pivoted her head toward the voice. She smiled once she saw that it was the boy she'd met yesterday. She couldn't quite remember his name. Putting her foot down she strolled over to him, standing at the bottom step and curving her head upwards.
"I remember you," she said. "You are the boy I met last night. I seem to have forgotten your name, however. Would you do me the favor of repeating it? Twould be much appreciated."
Angelina continued to smile innocently.

Tristoy laughed as he descended the stairs.
"The name's Tristoy," he said with a smile. "Why are you dancing around the Entrance Hall? You could be eating breakfast right now. Aren't you hungry?"
He sat down on the bottom step and patted the space next to him. His stomach growled just as he returned his hand to his lap. He chuckled nervously. As he waited for Angelina to speak he realized that he'd left his wand in the Gryffindor common room.
"Oh, shoot, I left my wand in my common room. Do you want to come with me to go get it?"

"I like to dance and I am not hungry," Angelina responded. "And sure, let us go retrieve your wand. T'would be a bad thing if something horrible occurred and you desperately needed it."
With sparkling, emerald green eyes she ascended the Grand Staircase slowly, steadily, and gracefully. The romantic glow from the torches lining the walls made her skin sparkle exquisitely, and it brought out the silver lining in her hair. That beautiful dress she wore, with its camouflaging colors, hugged her slender frame and yet didn't hide her from view.
She twisted the upper half of her body, looking down at Tristoy with her piercing eyes and motioned with her left hand for him to follow her.

Hagrid had just entered the castle to get breakfast before his first class of the day, a bunch of third-year Ravenclaw’s and Hufflepuff’s. He threw open the entrance hall’s doors to see some young girl dancing along in front of the stair case, this was a site he was not used to seeing first thing in the morning, so he watched as she finished her dance, and a young boy came and sat on the staircase. The girl crossed over to the boy and sat next to him. This was an odd place to sit seeing as many students would soon be needing to get past them to go get their own breakfast. Hagrid decided he would o see what they were doing and see if there was a cause for the dancing.
As he neared the students he recognized the girl, her name was Angelina Sawynn, she was a Ravenclaw. As her name came to him so did the boy’s, his name was Tristoy Sphynx, Gryffendor. She was a third year, he was a fourth. He walked to them and looked them over.
“Ya gonna to bring some o’ that energy to yer next class, Ange?” Hagrid grinned down at the two students. “And wha‘ exactly brough‘ on this ‘ere dancin?”

Bang!
Lillykra clapped her hands to her ears as the Entrance Hall doors crashed together. She looked back with an incredulous expression, slowly letting her arms fall to her sides once more.
"What the heck is up with those doors?" she asked. "Seriously, they could use a muffling charm or something."
She turned around and her eyes fell on three people: Professor Hagrid, Tristoy, and a girl she didn't know. Lilly tilted her head slightly. Who was the girl? She looked kind of odd, like a moth fallen from the castle ceiling. It was an interesting sight. Tristoy seemed to be following her, or leading her, or something.
"Tristoy!" Lilly called.

Angelina smiled at Hagrid as she twisted her gentle frame around to face him. Her emerald eyes sparkled with playfulness normally found in small children. She clasped the banister lightly to keep her balance as a smile formed upon her porcelain face.
"Of course I will, Professor," she said kindly. "And my dancing... Well, I do that for fun. It is a hobby of mine that not a lot of people quite understand."
Angelina turned her head and faced Tristoy, her smile never leaving her face.
"Are we going to retrieve your wand or no? I could easily use mine to get it, but I believe your wish is to spend time with me, is it not? I can read your face like a book."

Tristoy could feel his cheeks burning after Angelina spoke. It was true, he did want to spend time with her alone, but how could he do it with his sister there and Ange knowing? It was way too much for him to take at one time. Why did things never go his way?
"Oh, well, yeah, but we don't have to if you don't want to," he rambled on helplessly. "Um, will you just get it for me? I have to get to class early anyways and, um, finish stuff..."
He mentally slapped himself. Things were getting worse and worse every time he opened his mouth. Rubbing the back of his neck, he stood in silence, waiting for Angelina to respond.

Hagrid chuckled at the mess the poor boy was getting himself into.
“Well I‘ll Be seein ya in cla‘ later.” And with that Hagrid walked away, feeling slightly guilty for interrupting Tristoy’s flirting with Ange, though it appeared that his older sister was planning on doing just that, even if is unintentional. Perhaps he should help the poor boy out and get his sister away.
“Oy Lilly! It ‘as been a while since we talked. ‘ow You been keppin‘ up wit‘ your classes?” Hagrid called to Tristoy’s older sister, hoping this would make up for his interrupting earlier. Hagrid waited for Lilly to join him, hoping she would abandon her brother to do what he wished.

Lilly gave her brother a farewell wave and turned her attention to Hagrid. The effects of the Entrance Hall doors slamming together were completely forgotten. She strolled over to Hagrid and smiled kindly.
"I've been doing my best to keep up with all the work those teachers give us," she said. "But you know, I can't always be consistent with my homework. Don't worry though, I still get good grades and whatnot. I just have to have a little "me" time, you know? If I didn't I'd end up being the most boring child in this school."
Lilly chuckled heartily to herself and ran her fingers through her hair. She wondered thoughtfully where Ren might be at the moment, even though she'd only met him last night. He seemed like a cool guy.
"What have you been up to, Hagrid?"

"Well, if that is what you truly wish, then I will surely get your wand for you," Angelina replied with a sly smile. "However, class doesn't start for another half hour and I would love to spend time with you."
Her eyes sparkled playfully. With a little flick of her hair she turned around and continued walking up the steps gracefully, letting her hips sway back and forth ever so slightly. Angelina loved to flirt, and whenever she got the chance she knew exactly what to do. It was a little specialty of hers that most of her friends were envious of. Plus, with her exotic looks and interesting scar she was hard to get away from.
After she'd topped one flight of stairs she looked back at Tristoy, who was still sitting humbly at the bottom. A small smile came upon her lips and the sparkle in her eyes faded a little bit. The playfulness would disintegrate soon if he didn't follow.
"Tristoy, are you coming?" she asked in a silky smooth voice.

Tristoy's heart seemed to literally melt as Ange's words floated gently into his ears. He looked back at Lillykra hesitantly, making sure she was thoroughly distracted by Hagrid, whom he thanked silently. Once he was satisfied he turned around and followed Angelina up the staircase, careful to not trip over a step and make himself look like a fool.
When he reached the top of the first flight of stairs he smiled thoughtfully at Ange. Behind the happiness and the odd feeling of security he wondered frantically of something to talk about. He was certainly horrible at these kinds of things normally, but around girls it was ten times worse.
"Well, we better get on with it, I guess," he mumbled. "Um, what would you like to talk about?"

Ren shambled down the stairs, rubbing his eyes sleepily and yawning slightly as he descended. He barely skirted a girl who was coming up, and his left shoulder collided with the right shoulder of a boy following up after her. He reached out instinctively to steady the boy, who seemed a little off-balance on his feet.
"Sorry 'bout that," he mumbled, continuing on down.
As he reached the final flight of steps leading down into the entrance hall, he noted two familiar figures: the telltale hulking mass of Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper, as well as Lilly, the fascinating girl he had recently met last night. His heart gave a small lurch at seeing this last person.
He smiled as he approached them, and greeted them both warmly.
"Morning Hagrid, Lilly. How are you two doing this morning?"
He glanced aside at Lilly, determining how she was doing after last night. She had been pretty shaken up in the middle, but she had seemed to get better afterwards. He hoped she was still alright.

Hagrid grinned down at Lilly. “An wha‘ classes you takein‘ this yer?” It had been a while since he had talked to Lilly. “I ‘ave been jus takin‘ care of Grawppy and figurin out new creatures for class. I have thought abou‘ bringin‘ back some Skrewts, but firs ill need to show Buckbea- I Mean Witherwings, to me Thir’ years.”
Before Lilly could respond another student came down the stairs to join himself and Lilly.
“Mornin Ren. Im doin well today, an ‘ow are you doin?” Hagrid grinned down at the boy and continued towards the doors to the Great Hall.
