Tristoy stretched as he strode up to the edge of the Black Lake, yawning as he did so. His friends were currently at Hogsmeade, and he decided to stay behind for some alone time. Taking off his shoes and socks, he sat down on the plush grass and dipped his feet into the dark waters.
The sun above was slowly setting behind the Forbidden Forest, where Tristoy could see two figures conversing. One of them looked oddly like his sister, but he shrugged it off and closed his eyes. He'd been through quite a lot that day, what with school just barely beginning after being almost torn down by You-Know-Who and the battle. Tristoy could barely believe that the school was able to rise from such a horrid event, one that he'd been a part of.
His sister never knew that little piece of info. She'd been hustled away with the rest of the kids while he stayed behind to take the Death Eaters on. He was surprised that he'd managed to survive throughout the whole ordeal. His parents were worried sick when he met up with them again, and they questioned him constantly on where he'd been and why he was all bruised up and tattered.
Well, he lied and said it was the debris falling when he was being evacuated. He knew that Lillykra thought something was up, but she never questioned him on it, which he was grateful for.
Tristoy rubbed his eyes and sighed. So much time had passed when that battle occurred. Or, at least, it seemed like it. His thoughts were heavy with the friends he lost, something he was sure he would never get over. As he swished his feet around in the cool water he opened his eyes and stared into the cloudless, multi-colored sky.
"What a day..." he said softly.
