If you agree to these terms, post below saying you do. You must do this before you sign-up and your character will not be accepted unless you do this.
1. Your posts must be more than 6 lines long. This doesn't mean sentences, it means lines. Grammar is imperative. This means capitalizing, punctuation, and spelling.
Consequence: You will get spoken to if your grammar is a horrible issue and if it continues you will recieve warnings for bad posts.
2. No pure "Out-Of-Character" posts. You may include an "OOC" post in your reply but not on its own. There is a chat board for that stuff or you can send private messages.
Consequence: Deletion of the OOC post, and a warning if it continues.
3. Any posts that are over PG-13 must be posted in black text so that its optional to read it. To read it, you highlight it. Nothing overly smutty, even if it is in black text. Don't abuse this power.
EX: ((This right here is some Black text.))
Consequence: Deletion of you post, possible deletion of the thread, warning.
4. Your character may not be in two places at once. Make sure your character leaves one thread before entering another. This is done to avoid confusion and make it more story-like, allowing an accurate plot.
Consequence: Deletion of post or thread, warning.
5. You may not control other players. This includes claiming that you did or are doing something to them. You must give them adequate chance to respond. This means that if you want to reach out and touch somebody's shoulder, you say something along the lines of, "and she reached out to hold his shoulder in earnest.". This gives the other person a chance to respond (Maybe he doesn't want his shoulder touched).
Consequence: Just a request to change the post, warning if it is a continual problem.
6. Limit 2 characters per IP address. You must inform me when you make a second account. Each character requires a seperate account.
Consequence: Deletion of the account, continuous offense will result in a banning of your IP address.
7. Your roleplaying must be realistic. Your character can't, for example, break their ankle and then run like lightning to the other side of the room to save somebody.
Consequence: Deletion of post or thread, warning.
8. Get descriptions from those provided. Don't make up themes and places. Stick to the set story.
Consequence: Deletion of post or thread, warning.
9. Be active. If you will not have access to the computer for a while, post in the absence board.
Consequence: Deletion of account after 7 days of no activity.
10. Characters are limited in receiving powers. No using powers if you don't have them. No more than two.
Consequences: Deletion of post or thread, if continuous then a warning, possible account deletion.
11. You may create and control NPCs if they fit in with the scene (They can not be completely random) and they do not benefit your character. Please do not control vast amounts of NPC's at a time. If the NPC is not a race you are familiar with, read up on it. You may only have NPCs react to your actions, as they would realistically. You may not have them act toward you first.
Ex:
[GOOD] She walked into the bar, demanding a drink from the tender. He pulled out a dirty glass and poured some ale into her glass. She took the drink and nodded a thanks.
[BAD] She walked into the bar and instantly, all the men looked at her beauty with lust in their eyes. They started running up to her, asking her to a drink.
Consequence: Deletion of post or thread, warning.
If you receive three warnings and your account will be disabled for 5 days.
If you receive three more warnings after this time, your account will be deleted.
If you make a new character after your previous account has been deleted, and they receive 1 warning, your IP address will be banned and you will no longer be able to access this site on your computer.
